Overview
Aloft Hotels offers a fresh, lively environment and vibrant spaces, bringing people together. This next generation of hotel integrates technology and design to offer superior customer service and move at the pace of their guests.
If a user wants to get his/her house apprised, he/she can do so by reaching out to the team at Aloft Appraisal - Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation. The user has to submit a short form, filled with all the essential details. Though the form is small, the process is complicated. As the business grew, the client realized that its online channel needed to be more efficient and user-friendly. That is when the team at Aloft.com decided to collaborate with Seattle New Media.

During our work with IOS List, we embarked on a creative journey to reshape its online presence. We enhanced the website using Webflow, incorporated automation with Airtable, and ensured secure transactions with Stripe. User Experience Optimization refined every detail for seamless navigation. Integration of Google Maps API added interactive property exploration. Our efforts aimed not just at creating a website, but at building a portal for the future of IOS exploration.

Challenges
The client’s requirements were planned in two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2.
- The client was employing a multi-step form. However, moving forward, the client required those form variables to be customized at their end. For example, Aloft offers its services across three states: WA, OR, and CA. So, they needed an option to add new states to the form, whenever needed.
- Next, the client needed options to add more questions and answers for certain steps (such as step 2).
- On the pricing page, as a start-up, the client needed options to perform testing by adding custom pricing.
- As it is a multi-step form, the client needed us to create a unique identifier every time a form is submitted and that identifier gets passed onto the next form.
- The Aloft team needed us to offer a solution to track the time spent by each user on every form as well as the time taken to complete the form.
- The Aloft team needed us to help them capture data completed by the user in every step. For instance, if someone completed only step 1, the client needed a way to collect all the information to implement email campaigns.

Our approach
Solution
This project implements multiple use cases of a no-code system: Webflow, Airtable, Integromate, Zapier, and Hubspot.
Taking all of this into account, we decided to integrate the Webflow with Airtable so that all of the data (or questions) in the form will come from Airtable, allowing the Aloft team to add and delete questions, change pricing, and so on. In order to accomplish this, we connected Webflow with Airtable using an API.
We used a combination of custom coding in JS and integromat to fix the challenges faced in phase 2.
We offered the below add-ons:
- As an add-on feature, we created an auto complete feature for street addresses, which makes it a better user experience.
- Next, we pushed the Google map link of the street address to Airtable, allowing the client to easily trace the location.
- We also developed a system in Airtable which allows the client to send the order details to different appraisees based on location details.
- We developed a system to send invoices to every user who submitted data using Stripe. Finally, we developed a dashboard in Airtable with various filtering and chart representation of every step completed by a user.

Site redesign to offer an enriching user experience
Rasgo’s goal as a company is to amplify the impact of data science by enabling end users to explore, clean, join, and transform data into highly curated machine learning features. Seattle New Media enjoyed working with their team to reimagine Rasgo’s dream by redesigning its website and greatly enhancing their site’s user experience.
Key Takeaways
We used a phased approach for each set of milestones. In the end, they saw a drastic increase in new organic traffic, page load speed increases, and prospect conversions. Jared and Patrick loved the work that we did for them on this project.
